Research Overview
Our aim is to use aerosol processes to synthesize multi-functional drug delivery systems. Crumpling of graphene oxide (GO) sheets in-flight is a remarkable way to prevent aggregation of GO sheets in solutions. It is also an excellent approach to encapsulate nanoparticles inside the crumpled structure. The lab's focus is to develop an efficient CGO-based drug delivery system, incorporating drugs, targeting molecules, and other biomolecules for treatment, and preventing multidrug resistance.
